Applications
Heat Transfer Oil L-QC 320 # is designed for smooth operation in both open and closed systems under strong circulation conditions, and can be applied under controlled vacuum, atmospheric, or inert gas pressurization. In a well-designed modern closed system, the maximum average bulk fluid temperature is 320 °C and the maximum film temperature is 340 °C. In an open system, due to the presence of air affecting the thermal stability of the product, the maximum service temperature is 180 °C. Operating above the recommended temperature may lead to oil cracking, vapor bubble formation, flash point reduction, and shortened oil life.
Precaution: do not exceed the recommended operating temperature.
